This café is my `local`. There is nothing to touch the coffee, it’s deeply, deeply satisfying and the food prepared by Valeen irresistible. The café has its own unique atmosphere, lovely mix of taste and music. You won’t find nicer people anywhere – that includes the customers!
Thanks Val and Sid

Add this place to your bucket list

Having spent a day in Hebden Bridge recently for an event we popped in to the Love Cafe for a much needed cuppa, this was without a doubt one of the nicest Cappuccinos I’ve ever had, also a superb fast friendly service.
Will most definitely be dropping in again next time were over that way.

Another chance find

Was in Hebden with 4 old school friends looking for lunch when we happened into your café. Would you believe it Valeen is a dear friend I worked with eons ago and had lost touch with. We stayed and had a really excellent lunch, such good value and quality (although knowing Valeen of old I wouldn’t have expected anything less). Lovely atmosphere and music thank you Sid. Will definitely be coming again although next time mid week so I can have a proper catch up as Valeen was very busy it being the weekend. Keep up the good work, see you soon xx

Chance find

Me and 4 friends chanced upon this place after cycling up the canal from Manchester en route to Settle. The coffee is superb and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, just what we needed to recharge our batteries! Really looking forward to going back :)

What’s Not To Love

I’ve been a few times now, and there has never been anything to complain about. The hot chocolate is the best I’ve ever tasted, the teas are divine and the other half waxes lyrical about the coffee. The cornflake tart should be tried by everyone. As for the music … it’s an education. I love to sit in the cafe and listen to music you don’t hear in the mainstream. This is the place to be if you don’t want to listen to One Direction! All in all, Sid and Valeen are top notch people who know their stuff.

great coffee and atmosphere

A visit to this cafe and music shop is like popping into your mates house for a natter over a cup of coffee whilst listening to some great sounds. The coffee is the best in Hebden Bridge, authentic size Italian cups, not your american size soup bowls and the steamed milk is how it should be, nice and creamy, not a dollop of froth on top of weak coffee! If you like proper Italian style coffee with a warm welcome this is the place to go in Hebbie.

Hot Chocolate and Marsh Mallows MMmmmmmmmmmmm.
Lovely mellow Tunes, whilst you sit and ponder, feelings of a bygone era, sadly missed.

simply the best

I stumbled across this perfect little music shop and cafe today. I had the best coffee I have had in a very very long time, bought some music, relaxed and chatted. Wonderful. Thank you.

Beautiful place, great music, wonderful coffee and lovely people. Thanks for the nice chat and the best cup of coffee that we’ve had in a long time. We hope we can visit again soon!

If music be the food of love, play on

Muse Music provides a refreshing alternative to the identikit rent-a-clone bland slime oozing out from my tv set (sorry Frank, couldn’t resist it) Here you find music you have never heard of, thought no one but you had ever heard of and timeless classics, not only on the shelves but filling the room with sounds such as John Lee Hooker followed by King Crimson followed by Tom Waits followed by Pink Floyd… you get the idea. Sid’s encyclopaedic knowledge of rock music helps you find that missing piece of the jigsaw that you have searched for for years, or maybe you just want an intelligent conversation about music in general. Couple this with the best coffee you can get for miles served with loving care and attention by Valeen along with a selection of fabulous home made goodies, and you have the perfect recipe for a pleasant half hour to relax in a fantastic atmosphere. See you again soon.
